Hanoi to host Tet art festival[14/2/2008] Tet festivities are far from over as Hanoi gets set to host a one-day art festival on February 17 around Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake.Activities will kick off at 8am on stages erected at Ly Thai To Garden, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and Ba Trieu-Hang Khay cross-roads.
Attractions include a game of human chess, a mua rong (dragon’s dance) and performances from 22 folk troupes to play up to midday. Around 2,000 people are expected to attend.
The festival is organised by the city’s Department of Culture and Information.
